This section tells you about the terms and conditions on which we supply any of the products (Products) listed on our website www.newlook.co.uk (our site).

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Products from our site. When placing an order, you will be invited to agree to these terms and conditions by ticking the box marked "I agree to the terms and conditions". If you don’t accept the terms and conditions by ticking this box, you will not be able to order any Products from our site.

Ordering Products

After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have safely received it. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will send you a second email to confirm acceptance. The contract between us (Contract) will only be made when we send you this email to confirm acceptance.

We will send a third email when your order has been dispatched. We will not charge your credit or debit card or PayPal account until we despatch your order.

Availability

All items are subject to stock availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if, for any reason, the Products you have ordered are not available.

Ordering Errors

You are able to make changes to your order up to the point at which you click on the ‘submit order’ button on the Payment & Confirm section of the checkout process.

Prices

The price of all Products will be in UK pounds sterling and be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error. Please be aware that these prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due.

Due to the large number of Products on our site, it is always possible that some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced, despite our best efforts. We will normally verify prices as part of our order-handling procedure so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If the Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of the rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order acceptance, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Payment

We accept payment with the following credit or debit cards: Visa credit and debit cards, MasterCard credit and debit cards, American Express credit and Charge Cards, Switch/Maestro debit cards, Delta debit cards, Visa Electron cards.

New Look store cards and gift cards can now also be used.

We also accept payment by PayPal. Please note that if you wish to pay for your Products using PayPal, and you do not already have an existing Paypal account, you will be required to set up a new account with PayPal directly. Presently, we do not accept cash, cheques or gift vouchers as payment online.

By submitting an order to us through our site, you are confirming that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct.

All transactions will be in pounds sterling. Non-UK credit card providers and banks will determine the exchange rates to be applied and may add an additional processing or administration charge in relation to such payments which non-UK card holders will be liable to pay.

New Look products are sold on a Delivery Duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are required to check these details before placing an order for non-UK delivery.  

Delivery

Although we can deliver to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Island, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, the Channel Island and British Forces Post Office (BFPO) addresses, delivery to these locations may take a little longer.

Similarly, US customers in Hawaii and Alaska may find it takes longer for your delivery to arrive, although every effort will be made to ensure your order is delivered within the stated times.

When you have chosen the Products you want to buy from us, the delivery address will default automatically to the billing address you have entered for your payment card. If you want us to deliver your order to a different address, you can choose this option as you go through the checkout process.

Although we will make every reasonable effort to ensure your Products are delivered within the set timescales, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that they will not be affected by unforeseen issues affecting our delivery partner. Under these circumstances, delivery charges will not normally be refunded.

Deliveries Outside of the UK

Due to customs, legal, regulatory and certain practical restrictions applicable to orders placed for non-UK deliveries, some of our product may not be available for delivery to certain destinations outside of the UK. New Look reserves the right to define what can and cannot be delivered to which destination.

Please note that many countries have import restrictions on certain products or materials. Customers are responsible for checking with the local customs authorities before placing an order for delivery outside of the UK. It is also important to note that by placing an order for delivery outside of the UK, the customer becomes the importer and may be liable to pay local taxes or duties. New Look cannot offer any assistance in this process.

Tracking your Order

You can review the status of your order at any time by logging into the “My Account” section of our site and clicking on the relevant “VIEW ORDER” link.

If you have selected our UK standard delivery service you can also track the status of your delivery by clicking on the “Track My Order” link.

If you have trouble finding out the status of your order or tracking its progress, please contact Customer Services.

Returns Policy

We hope you will be delighted with everything you have bought from us, but if you are unhappy with your Products for any reason, you can return them to us in accordance with this returns policy.

New Look stores in France, Belgium and the Netherlands are unable to refund or exchange internet purchases, so customers outside of the UK can only return orders by post.

Returns to Store - UK and Ireland only 

You can return Products to any New Look UK or Ireland store for an exchange or refund within 28 days after you received the Products. Please ensure you bring the despatch note with you as proof of purchase. We will refund the full price you paid for the Products, in pounds sterling, using the same method you used to pay for them. Refunds for Products bought online using PayPal will be made by issuing New Look credit vouchers.

Returns by Post

We will refund the full price you paid for the Products, using the same method you used to pay for them, within 30 days of our receiving the Products. No exchanges can be made via the fulfilment centre (this is because we cannot guarantee stock levels due to expected high turnover of styles)

If Products are returned to our fulfilment centre, you should obtain proof of postage from the Post Office. Any claims for lost items will not be accepted if proof of postage has not been obtained.

Reasonable Care

If you want to return or exchange your products, you must take reasonable care of them and they should be returned to us in a re-saleable condition, which means that:

  • you can open the packaging to look at and try on the products as you would in our store.
  • you mustn’t try on the products wearing strong perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave scent or marks on the products.
  • shoes mustn’t be worn outside and no scuffing should appear on the sole.
  • hygiene strips must not be removed from items of lingerie and swimwear.
  • tags should not be removed from any item.
  • the original packaging should be retained.
  • pierced jewellery must not be worn

If you fail to take reasonable care of the Products before returning them to us, you may have to compensate us.

Unfortunately we can’t stop an order once it’s been confirmed by us. If you change your mind about your order after this point you can return the Products to in accordance with this returns policy.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights in respect of defective Products.

Risk and Title

The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the Products will only pass to you at the time of delivery or (if later) when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

Your Information

We process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our site, you consent to such processing.

Our Liability

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the Products that appear on our site. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery.

In the event of a fault in our Products notified to us within a reasonable time after delivery we will (subject to confirmation of the fault), exchange the Products or refund you in full but shall not have any other liability.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control including Acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, explosion, war, act of terrorism, industrial dispute (whether or not involving New Look employees), or acts of local or central Government or other competent authorities. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions and other notices elsewhere on our website contain the whole agreement between us and you relating to the supply of Products. No other terms or conditions will form part of the Contract, unless agreed by us in writing and signed by an authorised New Look employee.

Our Right To Vary These Terms And Conditions

We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that you order Products from us.

Law And Jurisdiction

This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of useage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.

Your use of our site and our liability for products which you may purchase through our site is subject to limitations and exclusions under our terms and conditions of supply. We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of our site. However, we will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for any technical problems you may experience with our site. If we are informed of any inaccuracies in the content on our site we will attempt to correct this as soon as we reasonably can.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability (whether arising in contract, in negligence or otherwise) for loss or damage which you or any third party may incur in connection with our site, any website linked to it and any materials posted on it.

  1. This free prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 16 or over except for employees of New Look Retailers, their families, agencies or any other company directly connected with the administration of this promotion, who complete registration instore or on the www.newlook.com website.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter.
  3. Registration completion is based on the following information being provided: full name, and e-mail address.
  4. Emailed confirmation of registration will ensure automatic entry into the monthly prize draw. Should the registration be cancelled any time during the stated promotional period, the entry will be removed from the prize draw.
  5. Only one entry per person.
  6. Third party registrations will not be accepted.
  7. The draw will be made monthly on the last working day of each month.
  8. There is one monthly prize of £100 New Look Gift Card to be won.
  9. The winner will be drawn independently and at random from all valid entries received and will be notified by email within 72 hours of the actual draw date.
  10. No alternative prize is available and the prize is not transferable.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions

1. Activated Gift Cards can be used as full or part payment of any goods at New Look stores throughout the UK and online at newlook.com 2. The New Look Gift Card is not a credit, charge or cheque guarantee card and cannot be exchanged for cash or gift vouchers. 3. Please retain New Look Gift Cards as the balance can be topped-up. The minimum amount required to top-up a New Look Gift Card is £1 and the maximum Gift Card limit is £250. 4. New Look Gift Cards remain active for 18 consecutive months after your last purchase, top-up or balance check. After this time, the Gift Card will expire and any remaining balance will be removed without notice. 5. New Look Gift Card balance may be checked in store, online at newlook.com or by phoning Customer Services on 0500 454 094. 6. To protect your New Look Gift Card against loss, theft and damage, register your details online at newlook.com or telephone Customer Services on 0500 454 094. 7. Refunds will be issued in accordance with New Look’s standard policy. 8. New Look cannot accept responsibility for: (i) unauthorised use of this Gift Card; or (ii) non-registered Gift Cards which are lost, stolen or damaged. 9. New Look Gift Cards are not for re-sale. 10. New Look reserves the right to add or amend these terms and conditions and/or discontinue the card at any time. Customers will be notified in advance via instore displays and the New Look website. 11. Your statutory rights are not affected. Loyalty Card Terms & Conditions

 

Please keep these Terms and Conditions for future reference. Current Terms and conditions can be found at newlookfashionrewards.com. Please check regularly for any changes.   

 

Any reference in these terms to “you” or “your” refers to the named applicant who has applied to join the Fashion Rewards scheme and “we and “us” refers to New Look Retailers Limited (the Promoter of this scheme).

 

Fashion Rewards Scheme

  • The New Look Fashion Rewards Scheme is valid for online sales at newlook.com and in all participating New Look stores, initially within the Greater Manchester region. See below for full list of participating stores.
  • The card is not a cheque guarantee, debit or credit card. You can use it in accordance with the terms and conditions of the New Look Fashion Rewards scheme.
  • The card remains the property of the Promoter and must be returned on request.
  • The card is personal to you and only one card is permitted on each account. The card and any reward points accumulated on it are not transferable. Applicants must be UK residents and be 16 years of age or older. We reserve the right to verify the age of applicants.
  • We can take any action we consider appropriate if we have reason to believe that you are abusing the scheme, including cancelling your membership of the scheme or withholding or cancelling reward points previously credited to your account.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or withdraw the Fashion Rewards scheme at any time. We will do this by posting notice on the newlookfashionrewards.com website. We may also withdraw or suspend any individual card without reason at any time.
  • We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of the scheme at any time and any revised terms and conditions will be available on newlookfashionrewards.com. The published terms and conditions on our website will always replace any previous terms and conditions issued or published by us, including these terms.
  • Terms and conditions for the use of Fashion Rewards community can be found on the newlookfashionrewards.com website.

 

DATA PROTECTION.  Where you have consented, we will use your details from the application form, plus details on how you use your New Look Fashion Rewards card and what you buy in New Look stores or online at newlook.com, to:

  • Help manage this Fashion Rewards scheme and improve the way we run it
  • Understand our customers' shopping habits to improve our service
  • Unless you indicate otherwise, contact you with relevant offers and information about products and services of interest to you.

We will share your details with businesses that process Fashion Rewards card information on our behalf (e.g. printers, mailing houses, website developers and data processors).

 

Earning Fashion Reward Points

  • You will receive Fashion Rewards points on all qualifying purchases from newlook.com and participating New Look stores.
  • Qualifying purchases exclude the purchase of New Look gift cards and vouchers, E-Top-Ups, and payment of any outstanding balances on a New Look Store Card.
  • You must present your Fashion Rewards Card at the till point in-store at each transaction. Points cannot be added at a later date. Fashion Rewards points awarded for purchases on newlook.com will be added to your account when the transaction is processed.
  • Fashion Rewards points will normally be added within 24 hours of your transaction but times cannot be guaranteed.
  • From time to time we will offer Bonus Rewards points; these will be earned at the level stated in and on the terms set out in the promotion.
  • You must spend at least £1 in a single transaction for the transaction to qualify for Fashion Rewards points. Two points will be awarded for every £1 that is spent. Any spend will be rounded down to the nearest £ and no points will be awarded (e.g. if you spend £5.99, then points will be awarded on £5.00 only and you would be eligible for 10 points). This can be altered at any time at the discretion of New Look Retailers Limited.
  • The Fashion Rewards scheme is only for personal and consumer use. Fashion Rewards points and vouchers cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded. 
  • We reserve the right to cancel or adjust Fashion Rewards points awarded if the relevant products to which such award relates are returned for any reason and a refund of the purchase price is given or if the relevant products are exchanged for other products, unless such exchange is for products with an equivalent points value. Where the relevant products are exchanged for products of a lower points value we may adjust the balance of points between those originally collected and those collected in respect of the replacement products.
  • We reserve the right to alter the number of points you collect on products and services included in the scheme. We'll let you know through the newlookfashionrewards.com website.
  • It is your responsibility to notify us of any change of address or other personal details to ensure that Fashion Rewards points and vouchers are allocated correctly.

 

Redeeming Fashion Rewards

  • Fashion Rewards, in the form of Fashion Rewards vouchers will normally be sent out by email or mail if you have accumulated a total of at least 300 points by the end of each collecting period. Details of the relevant collecting period dates are available on newlookfashionrewards.com.  Fashion Rewards vouchers will normally be issued monthly.
  • The level of Fashion Rewards vouchers given by us will be based on the number of points that you have collected in-store or on newlook.com on the final day of a collecting period. Points over and above the Fashion Rewards voucher will be carried over to the next collecting period. The current levels are multiples of 300 points.   • You can only redeem Fashion Rewards vouchers against a purchase equal to or higher than the value of the voucher.
